Ingredients

Each 1 gm.  Sitopaladi Churna  contains approx.:

  • Sharkara (Saccharum officinarum) 512 mg
  • Pippali (Piper lognum) 128 mg
  • Tvak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) 32 mg
  • Vanshalochan (Bambusa arundinacia) 256 mg
  • Ela (Amomum subulatum) 64 mg

Indications

Sitopaladi Churna is one of the most useful preparation for cough in diseases such as bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis. It is also very useful in curing burning sensations on the body, hands and feet, pleurisy, distaste, loss of appetite, and numbness of tongue. It is one of the best mucolytic and expectorants in properties and also reduces fever effectively. It works well as an anti-tubercular medicine because of its cinnamic acid content.

Dosage and method of administration

1-2 gms. thrice a day with one part honey and three parts ghee
